The OYC Annual Meeting will be held at the Miscowaubik Club in Calumet on Sunday, January 29, 2012.
5pm: Annual Meeting
5:30pm Cocktails - Cash Bar
6:30pm: Sit down dinner $30 including tax and tip
Three choices:
1. Beef Tournedos with mushroom bordelaise sauce
2. Chicken stuffed with Borsin 3. Shrimp scampi
7:30pm: Jim Spence will give a presentation on his sail to Newfoundland.
Please plan to attend and RSVP(include meal choice) to Kim Tunstall

OYC hosted the annual Champagne Regatta this past weekend. Conditions were blustery, as a cold front arrived just before the scheduled 11:00 am start time. We got three races off in 20+ knots of breeze. Max recorded gust on Mother Superior was 32 knots. Results are at http://www.onigaming.org/documents.
We held the after party at the Chassel Pavilion. Excellent food and champagne was available for all. |

The race results for thus far in 2011 are posted in the site. Dark Star and Blackbird are tied for the lead in the Keeweenaw Bay racing. Dark Star and Gamma Hunter share the lead in the Portage Lake weekend racing. And Mother Superior leads the pack for the Sundowner series.

The 2011 OYC Calendar and 2011 Race Instructions are available for viewing on the web site. There are some changes to the race instructions from last year. So read them when you can. The skipper's meeting is set for Wednesday, May 25th, at Copper Island Beach Club. |

I just added a Discussion link to the navigation pane. The Discussion page is an embedded Google Groups discussion formu where we can discuss anything related to OYC. Anyone can read the archive, but you must be a member of the group to post. All OYC members shoulld receive an invitation (via email) to join the group.
